How do I schedule my initial acupuncture appointment? To schedule your initial appointment please call, Angela Bell Acupuncture at (617) 512-3193. Angela provides brief complimentary telephone consultations to help patients figure out if acupuncture is the best modality for you and your health concerns. Insurance:For patients who have insurance policies that include acupuncture benefits, please be sure to ask for printed receipts to mail into your insurance for reimbursement. These receipts have been specifically designed to include all of the information required by insurance companies. Angela Bell Acupuncture requires all patients make payments at the time of service and handle reimbursements directly with your insurance company. Payment:Angela Bell Acupuncture accepts cash and check payments at the time off service. What do I need to bring to my first appointment? Please download, read and complete the following forms and bring them along with you to your first acupuncture appointment. If you are unable to complete these forms before your initial appointment, please arrive 30 minutes early to fill them out at the clinic. If you need to cancel, we ask that you provide us with a 24 hour notice. During your initial appointment, the acupuncturist will listen to your symptoms and ask questions to help determine your Chinese Medicine diagnosis. After the diagnostic phase of the appointment, you will receive your first acupuncture treatment. At the end of the treatment, the acupuncturist will assess your needs and design a treatment protocol to optimize your health. How many sessions will I need? As it takes time for disease to develop, it also takes time for our bodies to heal. A course of treatment is usually required, though it can vary depending on your constitution, lifestyle and current health condition.
